Sofia-BT JSC is a Bulgarian tobacco company with a history of almost 100 years. It was established in 1909 after several small Sofia-based companies merged into "Cigarette Factory-Sofia". Until 1944 it remained part of the then strong company "Cartel". In 1947 it became a part of the National tobacco monopoly. In 1993 Cigarette Factory – Sofia was transformed into a joint-stock company within the system of "Bulgartabac Holding" JSC.

Sofia-BT JSC has modern equipment and employs qualified professionals to produce tobacco products such as: American blend, Virginia blend, menthol cigarettes, dark tobacco cigarettes etc.

The company has been awarded with the "K" sign for quality; it has received a gold medal for the brand "Sredec" at the International Plovdiv Fair and the International award for overall management "For prestige and quality – 21st century".
